Black brindle, 13 years old, in lovely condition for her age.  Still moving very well and a credit to her owner.

Brindle, 14 years old, still going well.  Always great to see older dogs fit and happy.

Black brindle, strong head, a bit too heavily built for me, moved okay.

Black brindle.  I liked this type, not overdone, keen expression, decent head, could do okay when older.

Red and white, nice head, moved okay.  Plenty enough bone, slightly heavier than the 1st.

Brindle, built along the right lines.  Good feminine head, movement light and springy, all around a nice blend.  Reserve best bitch. 

Good sort of bitch, heavier set than the winner, good head, strong muzzle.  Moved okay.

Red and white pied.  I quite liked this girl.  Shown hard and fit which I like.  Movement could be better, a good head.

Blue brindle, lost out on fitness to the above, good head, strong muzzle of the right length, e.g. not too short, moved okay.

Brindle pied, a good blend of bull and terrier, good head, strong clean muzzle, nice spring of ribs - deep without being barrel ribbed.  Moved okay, I liked her a lot.  Best Bitch, Reserve Best in Show, Best Opposite Sex, lost Best In Show to dog on referee's decision.

Black brindle.  Another good one, a strong keen head, correct bite, nicely built.  Front not perfect but okay, moved well.

Black brindle, powerful head a bit too much for me.  Good body type with good spring of ribs, moved nicely, its fitness an advantage.  

Black brindle, very much the type I like, good shaped head with strong muzzle, from the side looked square, good deep rib, the best mover of the day.

Black brindle similar to above, head not as good - a bit too much, still a nice sort.

Black brindle.  A real nice bitch, nothing exaggerated, good head, the right body type, front a rib lovely, a good workman-like bitch.

Tiger brindle.  I liked this bitch, a rough diamond sort, lovely head, powerful muzzle.  It would not be handled, it's much too fat and needs work.

The real star of the day for me.  An eight year old dog that put the competition to shame in terms of condition and fitness.  His head is clean and not overdone in any way.  The outline is pleasing from all angles, showing neat front, level topline, trim waist and tuck up.              Angulation is good both front and rear and this coupled with his conditioning allows him to move as well, if not better than any Stafford around.  A real credit to his owner and a pity that he is approaching the  twilight of his Career.  Best Dog, Best Veteran and Best In Show

Black Brindle Dog, a little more up on the leg than 1st and not quite so strong.  Clean front and head, slightly longer in the body than 1st.  Moved okay, but I preferred the overall balance of the class winner.

Good size black brindle dog, clean front, neat tight feet, strong but not overdone head with dark eye and neat ears.  Has ample rib for his age and reasonable rear angulation.  Moved well but was carrying too much weight for me.  Had he been a little fitter, he would have pushed harder in the final line up.  Still a very promising puppy that went Best Puppy Dog, Reserve Best Dog and Best Puppy In Show.

Brindle dog with large head and short muzzle.  Very strong bone and barrel ribs.  Short in the back.  A very strong dog that will appeal to some but I preferred the cleaner lines and movement of 1st.

Black dog with white blaze on chest.  Clean front with neat enough feet.  Short in back with well developed ribcage.  Rear quarters were well angulated and his outline was one of overall balance.

Very similar in type to 1st except a little cleaner around the fore face.  On balance, I preferred the movement of the class winner, but very little to choose between them.

Strong dog in both head and bone.  Large skull, short muzzle with neat   ear carriage.  Clean enough front, barrel ribs and short in back.  Balances out overall but a little strong for me personally and would prefer a little more leg.

Very similar type of dog to 1st  in size, strength and make up.  I preferred the ear carriage and slightly longer muzzle / less pronounced stop of 1st.

Black brindle dog.  Clean enough on the front, strong head but not overdone.  Dark eye, neat ears, ample rib and short back.  Overall presented a clean outline and moved well.

Standard size Red dog with no exaggeration and not overdone in any way.  In reasonable condition, if carrying a little weight but overall I preferred the balance and conditioning of the 1^st dog.

Standard size black dog.  Strong head with short muzzle and round eye.  Front clean enough, short back and sufficient rib.  Well angulated rear quarters which enabled him to move okay.

Top size brindle dog that despite his size actually presents quite a balanced picture.  Would have preferred to see him carrying less weight and in harder condition but won this class on merit.
