Black brindle, strong shapely head of width and depth, no exaggeration, distinct stop, defined clean and powerful muzzle, large white teeth meeting in scissor bite, dark expressive eyes, neat rose ears, first class type expression, short muscular neck, level topline, spring of rib, tucked up at loins, straight front, shoulders lay back at the correct angle, muscled hindquarters with a turn at the stifle, moved with determination on thickly padded tight feet, a picture of balance throughout, just lost out to the CC winner who had marginally added muscular condition.
