Although the entry was not huge and despite obstacles from a variety
of sources, there was a high percentage of very good exhibits put
down before me, In the circumstances it was pleasing to see my CC
winner and BP take the Best in Show and Best Puppy in Show.

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ |
I would like to say a very big
thank you to the officers and
committee for inviting me to
judge at this well-run show.
I would also like to thank the
exhibitors for giving me a
chance to judge their exhibits
and for the sporting manner in
the way they accepted my
decisions - also a huge thank
you should go to my stewards,
Fred Jones, John Joyce and Carl
Dean for making the day's
proceedings go without a hitch.
The overall quality was
excellent and in some of the
larger classes a lot of good
bitches went unplaced.

ZAKSTAFF BLACK BARON
Black brindle/white, sometimes we can just look at a pup for a few seconds
and know by instinct the exhibit should have a great future, although,
things do not always turnout as we believe, especially with puppies. The
young man handling did a splendid job, naturally, at a first show the pup
was a little nervous. Quiet and calm reassurance, plus gentle handling got
the best out of the exhibit, strong head of correct proportion, dark round
eyes, neat rose ears, clean in lip and muzzle, scissor bite typy expression,
level topline, spring to the ribcage. coat felt good to the touch, sound
Iimbs, turn of stifle at the hind, moved with measured assurance.
