A pleasure to judge this young club's open show. Officers and committee pulled together to make it a smooth running event. My thanks to you all.

 

BITCHES

 

VETERAN BITCH (5)

 

1st: Evans' Ch Black ice

Black brindle showing all the attributes that took her to her title. Good head, good front and back end. Thoroughly enjoyed her day out.

2nd: Ritson's Dark Town Beauty

Well balanced black brindle. Good head and expression. Lovely condition for a seven year old bitch.

3rd: Cox's Gale Force Ten

 

MINOR PUPPY BITCH (11)

 

1st: Mitchell's Ramblix Redoubt

Black brindle, excellent quality, lovely head shape, good eye placement, distinct stop, short foreface, giving a pleasing expression. Front and back end good, with good rib. Overall balance excellent. Best Puppy in show.

2nd: Rogerson's Bowjaques Arima Rose

Red with a good head piece, short coupled body, superb back end, needs to settle on the move. Two top quality babies with a good future.

3rd: Wilkinson's Aradaz Ma Baker

 

PUPPY BITCH (9)

 

1st: Pocknell's Blunoosa Yabbadabbadoo

Good headed black brindle, good front and back end, good rib, moved well both ways showing a level topline.

2nd: Deen's Chapstaff Granite Lady of Dragonian

Strong headed brindle, front and back end good, good rib, moved well both ways, preferred overall balance of 1.

3rd: Woodage's Arapaho Princess of Wisdom

 

JUNIOR BITCH (12)

 

1st: McGrath's Rosie O'Riley

Superb quality brindle, great head piece, short foreface, distinct stop, well placed dark round eyes, rose ears, depth and width of head correct giving a true expression. Good front, superb rib, good back end. Short coupled bitch. Overall balance superb, moved well. Best Opposite Sex.

2nd: Reaney and Wilkes' Valglo Pacquesa

Excellent quality black brindle with a superb head piece, good wide front with a deep brisket, good rib, level topline, overall balance good, moved well. Two top quality birches.

3rd: Campbell's Rendorn Right Reply at Gainstaff

 

MAIDEN BITCH (7)

 

1st: McGrath's Rosie O'Riley

2nd: Campbell's Rendorn Right Reply at Gainstaff

Quality black brindle. Good head piece, great front, nice level topline, good rib, sound back end, moved well both ways. Excellent pigmentation.

3rd: Adam's Witchires Black Sapphire

 

NOVICE BITCH (7)

 

1st: Adam's Witchires Black Sapphire

Good head. well balanced black brindle. Nice eye placement, good front and back end, moved well.

2nd: Costello's AMBESTEN EMMELINE

Pied with a good head piece, eye placement good, good stop, front and back end good, unfortunately carrying too much weight which spoils the overall balance.

3rd: Dee's LADY GAYNOR

 

GRADUATE BITCH (5)

 

1st: Hopper and Drummond's PAULISA GOING FOR GOLD

Top quality red, strong head piece, good front, well boned legs, good feet, good rib, level topline, strong back end, moved well.

2nd: Dee's COLONIAL RED DIAMOND

3rd: Costello's AMBESTEN EMMELINE

 

POST GRADUATE BITCH (7)

 

1st: Mace's BREATHLESS MAHONEY AT JANASTAFF

Well balanced quality black brindle. Good feminine head, excellent front and back end, nice bend of stifle, level topline, moved well both ways.

2nd: Reaney and Wilkes' Valglo Pacquesa

3rd: Stanway's WAYSTAFF PANSY POTTER

 

LIMIT BITCH (9)

 

1st: Hedges and McLean's RAMBLIX RENAISSANCE

Top quality black brindle, great head piece, distinct stop, eye placement good, nice rose ears, keen expression, good front, deep brisket, well sprung rib, level topline, front movement good, back end movement lethargic, lacked drive, spoilt her chance in the challenge.

2nd: Ford's BLITSTAFF GERTCHA

Black/white brindle, good head piece, eye placement good, front good, good spring of rib, level topline, well tucked up, back end good. There was no fitter exhibit here today. Moved well both ways.

3rd: Noble's HAZESTAFF KEGRA RED AMBER

 

OPEN BITCH (8)

 

1st: Ryder's BEACONMOOR CHRISTMAS STAR

This typy black brindle oozes quality, with a good head, superb front, well sprung ribs, level topline, strong back end, good bend of stifle, put down hard and fit, best moving animal here today. Great ring presence. Close decision between her and the junior bitch but preferred head and expression of the younger bitch.

2nd: Adam's EMBLAKE ELIZA DOOLITTLE OF WITCHIRES

Black brindle, good stop, nice feminine head, sound front, deep brisket, good rib, level topline, strong back end, moved well both ways.

3rd: Stanway's WAYSTAFF MINNIE THE MINX

 

SPECIAL OPEN BITCH - FAWN/FAWN AND WHITE (5)

 

1st: Hopper & Drummond's PAULISA GOING FOR GOLD

2nd: Dee's COLONIAL RED DIAMOND

 

SPECIAL OPEN BITCH - BRINDLE/BRINDLE AND WHITE (4)

 

1st: Adam's EMBLAKE ELIZA DOOLITTLE OF WITCHIRES

2nd: Dee's LADY GAYNOR

Well balanced black brindle, nice feminine head, moved well both ways.
