What more
could anyone write about this multi award winning black brindle dog that
hasn’t been said before, he’s a credit to the breed a real ambassador and at
nearly ten years old can still hold his own, he was shown it super condition
and did everything expected of him by his owner, live long and healthy old
lad.

A standard red dog I see from Germany who has a strong well shaped head
correctly proportioned, correct bite dark eye for me just an observation I
would have loved tighter ears but this didn’t hinder him from winning a good
class, he has lovely body proportions with correct straight front and level
topline, he moved soundly on good rear quarters, a very nice youngster
scored marginally over the second place winner on being shorter in the back.

Another black brindle dog with white on chest and feet, very much a baby
this one and was really hard to handle for his lady owner, his head is not
as strong as my two winners above him but when alert has a nice expression,
dark eye and correct rose ears, he has good body proportions fore and aft
but moved ok although a bit erratically today, I’m sure with puppy classes
and maturity time he will be sorted.

small and rose shaped which he used well today, he was warm today and panted
and that with the ears gave a pleasing keen expression, he has a bit more
leg as I said but no way looks leggy, he has enough rib and bone and tuck up

A class today of fine exhibits and a few went home cardless but I only had
five places to award so sorry if you missed the cut. My winner is a balanced
white dog who for me stood out in great company; he’s not over done in any
way has the most appealing head shape that draws you to him, it’s deep,
defined broad without any fleshiness and has beautiful small rose ears these
along with his dark round eye really appealed to me, he stood alert and
square and I feel looked great from all angles, he has a well boned straight
front deep brisket and correct shoulder placement. He was shown in fit
condition and has well sprung ribs short in the back and has the required
tuck up that led to him holding a level topline driven along by strong hind
quarters, I was so pleased to award him his first CC for me he shone out
today congratulations and good luck for the next two tickets.

needs to have just that wee bit more lift in relation to his back length, he

HAMMYSTAFF HEAVEN KNOWS
Red and white girl who for those who believe the judge doesn’t have to touch
the dog in the ring, this one very much proves you wrong. On first look she
is a flashy marked Stafford BUT, on closer inspection i.e. putting your
hands over her she is much more than that. For me her head markings deceive
your eye with the white muzzle, but when you look at her in profile and feel
the depth of her stop, then your hands tell you that this is a complete
Stafford head. She has a body to match. Very plain from the ring side,
stunning when you put your hands over it, moved freely and with ease,
handled very well.

SCORGUIE STOLEN KISSES
Brindle lady who stole my eyes today. I have seen her from the ring side but
never laid my hands on her. If I could sum her up in three words they would
be strength, power, and balance. She stood like a statue when her handler
wanted her to, and filled up with animation. When on a loose lead she gave
the impression of menace and her clean lines give her the classic Stafford
look. Her head is to die for with ears that frame it for the almost perfect
picture. Strong, straight front carries it off, plenty of rib and a back end
so strong it could have been taken from an oil rig. She glides over the mat
with grace and ease and was presented in top condition. It was a pleasure to
