plenty of fun. Look out for a review of last year's Christmas Party in the
new Newsletter - we

better!
Newsletter To Be Posted Next
Week
August 17th 2002 - Newsletter
Number 27 has been sent to the printers, and should be ready to send out
mid-week.
Advice Required:
August 7th 2002 - We received the
following e-mail a few days ago........
"We have a 14 year old bitch and took in an 8 week old dog yesterday because the
owners did not want
it. As you can imagine our bitch is not happy with the new member and has gone for it several times.
Is
there any advice you could give to help her start to accept the dog as we would like
to keep it, but the old
one has to take precedence. Thank You, Stuart Moore."
If anyone has any practical
advice, please send it to us, and we'll pass it on to Stuart.
2002 Annual General Meeting
March 24th 2002 - The Downlands
2002 AGM took place at Petersfield Community Centre. The Chairman,
Secretary and Treasurer delivered
their annual reports, and the committee for the forthcoming year were
elected.
The judging list was approved by the membership and the judges
were selected for 2004 shows. The membership
also voted that membership fees
be increased by £1.00 to £4.00 for a single membership and £6.00 for a joint
membership. This is a small increase bearing in mind that the membership
fee has been held constant for the last five
years and is still excellent value
for money.
A member's match was held after the AGM, judged by Jamie Mace, and won by Ann
Gatenby's bitch
Kerrisdale Fruits of Love.
At the first meeting of the new committee the following officers were
re-elected - Chairman - Ben Kemp, Vice-Chairman Andy Land, Secretary - Ann
Gatenby, Treasurer - Vickie
Kemp. David Crookdake was welcomed as a new committee member. Gill
Thomas and Patrick Gatenby were co-opted onto the committee. A full
report on the proceedings will
appear in the next Newsletter.
